The final assignment in my Animation, Simulation, and Rigging class needed to involve a simulation in some way. I chose to have my character carry a box with simulated objects inside. As with before, this assignment required the use of reference footage, so I set up my camera and recorded myself throwing an empty box to the ground. The simulation was done using Maya's legacy rigid bodies, which unfortunately does not scale well for large amounts of objects.
